Simulations - had real life issues - radio/comm problems.

Could be a day longer. a lot to absorb.

Possibly multiple rooms to avoid people walking back and forth for info rather than radio or phone.

The practical exercises helped just to get some practice with the events.

I suggest that dispatchers are more involved. i think that even if they got to walk around with fire and le to see what they are doing it would be beneficial just to get further knowledge.

More active shooter and crisis situation training.
