Working side by side with police. This gave me insight into their practices and procedures so that we could work a scene effectively together.

I was pushed out of my comfort zone and placed into high stress situations which allowed me to see what areas I need improvement in and allowed me to experience roles that i am not yet a part of but may be a part of in the future.

I guess the parts dealing with tactical just because I don't use that information directly. However it was still nice to have indirect experience with their roles as well.

I feel like if I took it a second time I could gather much more information. I learned a ton but I feel there was still more information that I could have taken away from this course with the knowledge I recieved.

I would like to deepen my knowledge and understanding of active shooter incidents.

The practical exercises helped just to get some practice with the events.

I suggest that dispatchers are more involved. i think that even if they got to walk around with fire and le to see what they are doing it would be beneficial just to get further knowledge.

More active shooter and crisis situation training.
