The practical exercises, they actually put you into various roles and the more you did you understood what was going on around you and what needed to happen on various fronts.

More repetitions I feel is what would make me better in this area. Even if they are simulated, they make you think about deploying resources and tracking everything that goes on around you.

The contact/containment component. I have practiced those components for a significant amount of time prior to the course.

For the final scenario(s), please elaborate further as to whether the chips are being used, or if a more interactive method (using radios comms) is required based on the station you are assigned to.

As a dispatcher I felt more of a prop and it was geared more towards the field.

The CAD should break down what the fire and police dispatcher are typing it was very hard to read.
